  • BAFT’s Certificate in Transaction Risk for Trade (CTRT) is targeted towards sales and other trade professionals to help in identifying prospect companies and determine which trade products are appropriate for each of them. CTRT is highly relevant for professionals involved in assessing and managing various risks associated with trade transactions. This risk certificate is also helpful for trade professionals and bankers with 3 or less years of experience, who have not yet received training in trade and trade products, specifically related to risk management.

  • BAFT’s Certificate in Introductory Transaction Banking 2.0 (CITB) is targeted at individuals who are new to transaction banking products and services. This certificate is tailored to those that are either joining a bank directly from college, from a separate line of business and/or industry, as well as those junior level employees looking to have a broader knowledge of their role in transaction banking. The target candidate has under 3 years of transaction banking experience, or has only had exposure to parts of transaction banking. This is a Level II professional certificate targeted toward individuals who are more advanced in their transaction banking careers or those that have already received BAFT’s Certificate in Introductory Transaction Banking and/or BAFT’s Certificate in Transaction Risk for Trade professionals.

  • BAFT’s Certificate in Foreign Exchange (CFX) is targeted to bankers and transaction banking specialists with junior to intermediate experience. Following the completion of the course, the participant should have a basic understanding of a financial institution’s foreign exchange (FX) department and services. This certificate provides an overview of the FX market, its products, sales process, FX risk, and regulatory and compliance requirements. Participants will learn how currency moves around the world including different types of local and global payment rails to facilitate payments. This is a Level II professional certificate targeted toward individuals who are more advanced in their transaction banking careers or those that have already received BAFT’s Certificate in Introductory Transaction Banking and/or BAFT’s Certificate in Transaction Risk for Trade professionals.

  • BAFT’s Certificate in Advanced Trade Finance (CATF) is tailored to those working in or looking to learn more about trade finance, supply chain finance, cross-border risk management, and liquidity solutions, with over 3 years of experience. Following the completion of the course, the participant should have a deep understanding of the trade finance business and its various implications across the financial ecosystem. This is a Level II professional certificate targeted toward individuals who are more advanced in their transaction banking careers or those that have already received BAFT’s Certificate in Introductory Transaction Banking and/or BAFT’s Certificate in Transaction Risk for Trade professionals.

  • BAFT’s Certificate in Advanced Cash Management (CACM) is a Level II certificate targeted toward individuals who are further advanced in their transaction banking careers or have already passed BAFT’s Certificate in Introductory Transaction Banking. CACM is tailored to those already working or looking to learn more about foreign exchange, payments, and treasury management. The target candidate has over 3 years of treasury experience and looking to further demonstrate their understanding by earning an industry certificate.

  • BAFT developed the The Respondent’s Playbook: A Correspondent Banking Relationship Guide to train respondent banks on international anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) standards and to recommended actions that may improve their ability to obtain and maintain a correspondent banking relationship. BAFT’s Certificate for Respondent’s Playbook (CRP) is geared toward private sector banks, primarily compliance, risk management, and transaction banking business line staff as well as credit officers.

  • El Certificado en Introducción a la Banca Transaccional de BAFT 2.0 (CIBT) ha sido actualizado con nuevo contenido y está dirigido a personas que quieren conocer la banca transaccional y sus productos y servicios. Está diseñado para aquellos que se incorporan a una entidad financiera desde sus estudios universitarios, o que ya trabajando se van a trasladar a este área o quieren aprender sobre esta actividad de los bancos. El candidato ideal cuenta con hasta tres años de experiencia en banca transaccional o aún no ha tenido contacto con todas las actividades que se llevan a cabo en este área.

  • El Certificado de BAFT en Foreign Exchange o Cambio de Divisa (CFX) tiene por objeto proporcionar al participante una visión general del departamento y los servicios de FX de una entidad financiera. Una vez finalizado el curso, el participante tendrá un conocimiento básico del mercado de divisas (FX), los productos, el proceso de venta, el riesgo de FX y los requisitos normativos y de compliance.   • El Certificado en Cash Management Avanzado (CCMA) de BAFT es un certificado de Nivel II dirigido a personas que están más avanzadas en sus carreras de banca transaccional o que ya han realizado el Certificado de Introducción al Transaction Banking (CITB). Este certificado está pensado para quienes ya trabajan o quieren ampliar su conocimiento sobre FX, Pagos y Gestión de Tesorería. El candidato ideal cuenta con más de tres años de experiencia en tesorería y desea demostrar sus conocimientos mediante la obtención de un certificado sectorial.
